Jelly legs

I went to the gym today and really pushed myself on the elliptical. I did 30 minutes with a 5 minute cool down. I did 2.8 miles in that 35 minutes and now my legs are all jelly-y.

I also did 15 minutes on the weight machines. I did 3 sets of 10 at 45 lbs on the lat machine, 3 sets of 10 at 90 lbs on the ab machine and 3 sets of 10 at 45 lbs on the oblique machine.

I weighed myself before exercising and I was at just under 154.5-the scale was really sensitive. 155 was touching the bottom of the leveling box and 154 was touching the top of the leveling box. 154.5 was still a tad heavy, but I didn't feel like going more precise than that. Not great, but I haven't gained. I want to be at LEAST under 150 before the wedding. Maybe? Please?

  1. That is great, but don't get upset if you gain because muscle does weigh more than fat. You should take your measurements and that will be a big help in knowing how well you are doing. I love the elliptical, but I found that jogging even just a mile seems like it burns more fat, and it makes your but look really good! Good luck in your goals you can do it!!!!

  2. Several people have told me that, about measuring. The problem is, I don't lose inches, either. :(

I would run off the machines, but I have nerve problems in my feet that get horribly aggravated when I do high-impact exercise.
